Here is the newsletter for the coming week. If you have been away for the summer we hope you had a good break. Please pray for all those starting school, college, university, new jobs etc this autumn.

This weekend is the first using the revised translation of the Roman Missal. Please do use one of the sheets you will find in church to help you with the new words.

This week we celebrate SEA SUNDAY. Because of our location this is a particularly important Sunday. We are blessed to have a port in the parish (Teignmouth) and blessed to have a group of volunteers and supporters who spend a lot of time and effort helping seafarers. Thanks to them lives have been enhanced. Thanks to our seafarers who help to make our lives so much better. God bless them all.

This Sunday we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord to heaven.

Like the disciples who watched him depart this earth, we may be confused or anxious about where Jesus actually is, but we are reassured by his words that he will be with us to the end of time. Have a good week.
